Alice Springs Police have charged a 25-year-old woman and a 27-year-old man with drug offences following a search warrant yesterday.

Detective Acting Superintendent Peter Malley said Detectives from the Southern Tactical Investigation Squad executed a search at a residence in Braitling.

“Police located and seized 1 gram of methamphetamine, a small quantity of MDMA, drug paraphernalia, digital scales and $10,800 in cash.”

They were both arrested and charged with:

Possess methamphetamine

Possess schedule 2 drug (MDMA)

Supply methamphetamine

Possess thing used to administer dangerous drug

Administer dangerous drug to self.

They will appear in Alice Springs Magistrates Court on 14 October 2014.
