A 30-year-old man will appear in Darwin Magistrates Court today after he handed himself into Darwin Police Station last night.

Superintendent Sachin Sharma said a warrant was issued for his arrest earlier this month.

“He has been charged with sexual intercourse, gross indecency (x2) and aggravated assault.

“Police would like to thank the Katherine community for their assistance and patience during recent operations in and around the township.”
