Three men aged 24, 25 and 28 have been charged following a vehicle apprehension in Karama yesterday.
Police apprehended the vehicle at a local shopping centre car park just after 10:30am and arrested the three occupants of the car.
A loaded firearm was located and seized from the vehicle during the apprehension.
The 28-year-old was charged with:
Breach Domestic Violence Order
Aggravated assault
Threats to kill
Possess firearm without a licence
Possess ammunition (not licensed)
The 25-year-old was charged with:
Drive and unregistered and uninsured motor vehicle
Drive unlicensed
Possession of a thing to administer a drug
Administer drug to self
Possess firearms without a license
Possess ammunition (not licensed)
The 24-year-old was charged with:
Possess firearms without a license
Possess ammunition (not licensed)
All three were remanded in custody and will appear in Darwin Magistrates Court today.
