Two men have been charged in relation to two separate armed hold ups that occurred on the evening of 26 October.

A combined Police effort yesterday, involving officers from General Duties, the Territory Response Group, Negotiators and the Serious Crime Squad, resulted in both men being arrested separately without incident.

Detectives recovered a number of items of interest including two firearms and a trafficable quantity of LSD and MDMA.

The men, aged 25 and 19, have both been charged with aggravated robbery; firearms offences; possess a trafficable amount of LSD; and possess a trafficable amount of MDMA and were remanded in custody overnight.

The pair will appear in the Darwin Magistrates Court today.
