Police are investigating the death of a 40-year-old man in Gray last night.

Detective Senior Sergeant Lee Morgan of the Major Crime Squad said Police and St John Ambulance responded to an address on Victoria Drive at around 6.40 this morning.

“Upon arrival the 40-year-old man was confirmed deceased at the scene and a crime scene was established.

“A 35-year-old man is currently in police custody assisting with enquiries and investigations are ongoing.

“Police are seeking anyone who may have heard or seen anything on Victoria Drive between 10.00pm – 11.00pm last night to contact Police on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000,” Detective Senior Sergeant Morgan said.
