Northern Territory Police, Fire and St John Ambulance personnel have responded to a house fire in Kululuk Community this evening

Acting Watch Commander Eric Koomen of NT Fire & Rescue Service said Emergency Services responded to a call at about 6.30pm.

“On attendance the house was fully involved and due to the intensity of the fire, Firefighters were unable to enter.

“Two people have been confirmed deceased; another has been transported to Royal Darwin Hospital by St John Ambulance.

“Due to the damage the fire has caused the building is structurally unstable.

“Investigations are continuing into the cause of the fire,” Acting Watch Commander Koomen said.
