Trident Charge Man Following Crime Spree - Darwin

A 33-year-old man will appear in Darwin Magistrates Court today following a crime spree in the Northern Suburbs last month.

Detective Senior Sergeant Mark Stringer said Police allege the offender unlawfully entered three residences in Tiwi and Lyons between the 3rd and 30th of October and stole $10,000 worth of electronic items and property.

“Police allege the offender unlawfully entered a child care centre in Brinkin and stole a laptop computer valued at $950. It is further alleged that the offender stole a scooter from a car park in Casuarina. Police recovered the scooter at a residence in Malak.

“The allege offender was arrested in Marrara on Friday in possession of small quantity of cannabis.”

He was charged with:

Aggravated unlawful entry (x4)

 Stealing (x4)

Aggravated unlawful use of a motor vehicle

Possession of a schedule 2 dangerous drug

Breach of bail
