A 40-year-old woman has been arrested for allegedly unlawfully entering a home in Coconut Grove last month.

Detective Senior Sergeant Mark Stringer said members from Strike Force Trident arrested the woman on Sunday at a residence in Coconut Grove.

“It is alleged the woman had attempted to gain access to a number of homes in Coconut Grove and when confronted, claimed to be a cleaner.

“The woman is alleged to have entered a home via the unlocked back door on 29 October, however was disturbed by an occupant of the home and escorted from the property,” Detective Senior Sergeant Stringer said.

The woman has been charged with unlawful entry.

She received bail and is to appear in the Darwin Magistrates Court on 6 January, 2015.
