Two youths have been summonsed to appear in Alice Springs Youth Justice Court in relation to the theft of three Wicked Campers rental vehicles in Alice Springs.

Constable Brad Maxwell said Police allege the youths; a 12-year-old male, 14-year-old female and co-offenders removed a section of the compound fence, entered into the yard and stole three rental vehicles on the night of Sunday 17 November.

“The vehicles were driven around Alice Springs CBD and surrounding camps.

“The three vehicles have been located and returned to the owner,” said Constable Maxwell.

The youths have been summonsed for unlawful use a motor vehicle, drive a motor vehicle while unlicensed, trespass on premises and fail to obey the direction of a member.

Investigations are continuing.
