Police are calling for witnesses in relation to a crash on Stott Terrace at around 9.30am today.
Detective Senior Sergeant John Worrall of the Major Crash Investigation Section said the incident occurred near the roundabout heading towards Sadadeen.
“The crash involved a motorcycle and a red Hilux ute with interstate plates, which was seen leaving the crash.
“The rider of the motorcycle was transported to Alice Springs Hospital but has since passed away.
“Police have located the vehicle they believe was involved in the incident and are asking for anyone who witnessed the crash or has information about the incident to please call Police on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000,”
The road toll now stands 38 compared to 35 last year.
