Alice Springs Police are continuing to search for 22-year-old escapee Andreas Bush.

Detective Sergeant Leith Phillips of the Southern Investigation Squad said Andreas escaped the custody of Corrections Officers at the Alice Springs Hospital at around 9.30pm last night.

“Andreas is described as being of Aboriginal appearance, approximately 175cm tall and of athletic build. He has a cast on his left forearm and was last seen wearing a blue and green striped shirt and dark coloured shorts,” Detective Sergeant Phillips said.

“If you see Andreas or if you know of his whereabouts, please contact Police immediately on 131 444 or 000. Do not approach him at any time.”
