Police from the Southern Investigation Division and Major Crime Squad are currently investigating a suspicious death which occurred in Charles Creek Camp in Alice Springs early this morning.

Detective Sergeant Andy Bedwell said at approximately 8am today it was reported to Police that the body of a 36-year-old female had been located in a house in Charles Creek.

“Police have already spoken to a number of witnesses and urge anyone else who may have witnessed an altercation at the location early this morning, to contact Police on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.”
