A 43-year-old male has been charged with aggravated unlawful entry and stealing after being allegedly located by security officers inside a licenced premise in the Todd Street Mall.

Detective Superintendent Brent Warren said the male activated alarms at about 2.00am on the morning of 27 January.

“Police arrested the man shortly arriving at the location.

“He has also been charged with breaching an Alcohol Protection Order.”

The man has been remanded to appear in the Alice Springs Magistrates Court today

Detective Superintendent Warren said Police will continue to target and arrest property offenders and welcome any information from the public to assist in these operations.
