Police are calling for witnesses following an aggravated assault which occurred in Malak on the evening of Wednesday 28 January.

Detective Sergeant Annette Cooper said the alleged assault took place in the grounds of Malak Primary School at around 11pm.

“Police believe the man in the attached photo witnessed the assault and may be able to assist Police with their enquiries.

“He is described as being of Aboriginal appearance, 165cm tall, medium build with short curly hair and facial hair. He was last seen wearing a bright blue and yellow vertical striped shirt and beige shorts."

Police urge the man or anyone who may have witnessed this incident to call 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
