A 60-year-old woman has died and two others were injured following a single vehicle rollover on the Roper Highway yesterday.
Superintendent Bob Rennie said the two injured males were transported to Darwin by Care Flight.
“There were four occupants of the Toyota Landcruiser at the time of the crash, east of the Roper Bar Crossing.
“Initial investigations suggest the driver lost control on a bend and the vehicle rolled once.
“It appears the male who was not injured was the only person in the vehicle who was wearing a seatbelt.”
The death takes the 2015 road toll to four compared to three for the same time last year.
