Northern Territory Police have charged a 20-year-old male with attempted murder, make threats to kill and engage in conduct that contravenes a Domestic Violence Order.

The male remains in Royal Darwin Hospital and was charged at his bedside late yesterday.

He has been remanded in custody to appear in court at a later date.

Investigations into this incident are continuing.
