Two males aged 19 and 21 have been charged with unlawfully causing serious harm following an alleged assault on a security officer in a licenced premise early on Saturday morning.

Acting Commander Tony Fuller said the men have been remanded in custody.

“The two males will appear in the Darwin Magistrates Court on Monday, March 16.

“The security guard remains in a stable condition in the Intensive Care Unit at Royal Darwin Hospital.”

Acting Commander Fuller said a third person has been cleared of any involvement in the altercation.
