Domestic Incident - Anula

General Duties Police, Tactical Response Group (TRG) and Dog Operations Unit (DOU) attended a domestic incident in Maude St, Anula last night.

Senior Sergeant Tanya Woodcock said it is believed the incident started at approximately 7.30pm outside of the residence and involved four people.

“Several people were inside the residence at the time of the incident.

“It is believed the 28-year-old male produced a weapon and made threats against another person.

“TRG and DOU attended the area however the 28-year-old male, believed to be Raymond Hewitt, left the area before they arrived.

“Witnesses were then removed from the residence. They had not been injured and are assisting Police with their enquiries.

“Crime Command Detectives will continue to investigate the incident and pursue the alleged offender until he is in custody.  Police believe he may still be armed and should not be approached.

“We urge Raymond Hewitt to make contact with Police.

“He is described as, Indigenous male, 180cm tall, heavy build, he has a Mohawk hairstyle which is wavy at the back and is shaved on the sides.
