Cannabis Seized Adelaide River

Northern Territory Police have charged two males with drug offences following a cannabis seizure at Adelaide River.

Acting Superintendent Clint Sims from the Drug and Organised Crime Division said just after midnight a white Toyota Land Cruiser ute approached a Police road block established outside the Adelaide River Township.

“On entering the road block, Police witnessed the passenger of the vehicle throw a black bag out the window.

“Upon search of the bag Police located 160 grams of cannabis.”

The males aged 25 and 27 were charged with:

  • Possess cannabis – traffickable quantity
  • Supply cannabis
  • Possess implement to administer dangerous drug

They will appear in Darwin Magistrates Court on 1 July.
