Northern Territory Police have charged three male youths following the recovery of a stolen motor vehicle.
Detective Senior Sergeant Mark Stringer said on Sunday evening, Strike Force Trident Detectives were conducting routine bail checks when a 15-year-old male failed to present himself at his residence.
“The following morning, members attended the residence once again and located the youth with two males aged 14 and 16.
“Upon a quick search of the room, Police located a quantity of cannabis and stolen property, including a set of keys to an alleged stolen Mazda. The stolen motor vehicle was later recovered in Woodroofe.”
The 14 and 16-year-old were arrested and charged with aggravated unlawful use of a motor vehicle, possession of stolen property and possess cannabis.
The 15-year-old was charged with breach of bail, possess stolen property and possess cannabis.
They will appear in Youth Justice Court today.
