Aggravated Assault – Public Assistance Sought – Alice Springs

Detective Superintendent Brent Warren said a 26-year-old woman was walking along the northern side of Undoolya Road at around 9:00pm on Saturday, 2 May when she was approached by an unknown man.

“It is alleged the man assaulted the woman near the Will Terrace intersection. She has fled to a nearby business and contacted Police.

“Police released a comfit image of the man on 6 May. The offender is described as being of Aboriginal appearance, approximately 175cm tall and medium build. He was wearing jeans, a white shirt and a jacket.

“Police urge anyone who may recognise this man or anyone who may have been in the area at the time of the incident to contact Police on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.”
