Police have charged a 16-year-old male in relation to an unlawful entry in Alice Springs on 6 April.

Superintendent Brent Warren said the business was unlawfully entered between 9.00pm 6 April and 1.00am 7 April by a group of youths.

“Once inside it is alleged the youths stole $4,300 worth of cash and property including, $2,500 in cash, 40 cans of coke, 15 necklaces, and a camera.

“Police have since arrested three youths and they have received Youth Diversion.”

The 16-year-old male was arrested yesterday and charged with:

Aggravated unlawful entry (building)
Criminal damage
Stealing

He will appear in Alice Springs Youth Court today.
