Stolen Firearms Fannie Bay

Police have released the images of two males they believe may be able to assist in relation to an unlawful entry and stealing incident in Fannie Bay early this morning.

Detective Senior Sergeant Mark Stringer said at around 5am Police received a report a residence in Fannie Bay had been unlawfully entered and five rifles, one shotgun, ammunition and a Mazda 2 had been stolen.

“Police recovered the vehicle which was alight a short time later in Marlow Lagoon.

“Ezra Austral, aged 17, is also wanted by Police after he escaped custody from the Darwin Magistrates Court on Friday 22 May.

“Ronald Kelly, aged 22, has a history of property offending and firearm thefts.

“It is an offence to harbour a fugitive and Police would urge the public to report any information in relation to their whereabouts and movements.

“Police urge the public not to approach these two males but to contact Police immediately on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000."
