A 29-year-old man will appear in Alice Springs Magistrates Court today following a domestic violence incident against his partner on 24 May.

He has been charged with Aggravated assault and Breach domestic violence order.

Superintendent Brent Warren said NT Police are committed to reducing rates of domestic and family violence in our community, safety is everyone’s right.

“If you chose to engage in this behaviour you will be arrested and put before the courts.”
