Northern Territory Police are currently searching for two male youths who escaped custody from Don Dale detention facility overnight.

Acting Territory Duty Superintendent Brendan Muldoon, said that the two youths successfully exited the facility just before 8:00pm.

“It is believed both youths have sustained some lacerations or similar injuries as a result of their efforts in damaging security fencing.

“Both escapees have history for unlawful entry and property offences. Police remind people to lock up their premises, including ensuring car keys, wallets and other personal belongings are kept secure at all times.”

If anyone has any information in relation to the whereabouts of Josiah Binsaris and Ethan Austral, please do not approach them but immediately contact Police on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers 1300 333 000.
