Alice Springs Police have charged a 32-year-old man following the theft of a motor vehicle from a car yard.
Detective Superintendent Brent Warren said Police will allege the man stole a white Nissan Navara from a car yard on 8 June.
“On Wednesday 10 June, an off duty Police Officer spotted the stolen motor vehicle at a Sadadeen service station and notified general duty members.”
He was arrested and charged with:
- Unlawful use of a motor vehicle
- Drive unlicensed (x2)
- Unlawful possession
He will appear in Alice Springs Magistrates Court on 19 June.
