A single vehicle rollover has claimed the life of a 26-year-old male on the Lurtija Highway, 20 kilometres east of Kings Creek Station.

Duty Superintendent Bob Harrison said three other people in the vehicle have suffered non-life threatening injuries.

“We understand the occupants of the vehicle are foreign nationals who were travelling in convoy with another vehicle.

“Major Crash Detectives are attending from Alice Springs to investigate circumstances surrounding the rollover.”

The death takes the Territory road toll 17 compared to 19 at the same time last year.
