Alice Springs Police have charged a 45-year-old woman following the death of a 52-year-old man on Sunday night.

“Police will allege that the woman stabbed the man to his upper thigh during a domestic argument,” said Detective Superintendent Peter Malley.

Police attended a residence in Eastside on Sunday and located the victim. The alleged offender was still on the scene.

The woman has been charged with one count of murder and has been remanded in custody to appear in the Alice Springs Magistrates Court on 23 June 2015.
