Northern Territory Police are calling for public assistance on the whereabouts of 31-year-old Brett Mahoney.

Detective Sergeant Annette Cooper from the Serious Crime Squad said Police want to speak with Brett Mahoney in relation to a firearms incident that occurred at a Dundee residence on 18 July 2015.

“He is described as being of Caucasian appearance and thin build.

“He was last seen driving a faded red Toyota Land Cruiser, Northern Territory registration CB19SM in the Marrakai area. It is possible that he is not traveling alone.

“We believe Brett Mahoney may be armed and urge the public to not approach him but to report all sightings to Police on 131 444, Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or  to call 000 in an emergency.”
