Northern Territory Police are investigating an alleged aggravated assault and robbery that occurred in Alice Springs early this morning.

Detective Sergeant Gavin Hopwood from the Southern Tactical Investigation Unit said it is alleged that after 2:00am four unknown males unlawfully entered a property on George Crescent and began demanding cash.

“An altercation has then occurred resulting in four occupants of the residence being assaulted, before the offenders fled the scene with the victim’s phones and wallets.

“The victims were all transported to Alice Springs Hospital where they are receiving treatment for minor injuries.”
