Pedestrian Struck - Darwin

Northern Territory Police are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding an incident that occurred on McMillans Road early this morning.

Detective Acting Superintendent Chris Board said around 4:30am members located a male walking along McMillans Road.

“The male was spoken to by Police and instructed to move from the road, before being struck by a vehicle.

“Members and the other driver rendered first aid before the male was transported to Royal Darwin Hospital to receive treatment for an injury to his arm. He is in a stable condition.

“Police breath tested the driver at the scene, where he returned a negative reading.”

Investigations are ongoing.
