Fugitive – Alice Springs

Northern Territory Police are searching for Peter Michael Kamm in the Alice Springs area.

Peter Kamm was convicted of murder and sentenced to life imprisonment on 31 January 1991.

“Kamm was paroled from prison on 15 July 2015 and part of his parole condition was that he wear an electronic monitoring device,” said Commander Danny Bacon.

“Yesterday evening Alice Springs Police were made aware that Kamm had removed this device. He was not at his place of residence and a search immediately commenced.”

Kamm is described as being of Caucasian appearance, 50 years old, and of medium build. He has short brown hair, brown eyes and an earring in his left ear. He was last seen in the vicinity of the McDonnell Range Caravan Park.

“The public are warned not to approach Kamm if sighted, but to call Police on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 immediately. In an emergency, call 000.”
