Crime Spree – Two Youths Arrested – Darwin

Detective Senior Sergeant Mark Stringer said Police allege the two youths unlawfully entered 14 businesses across Pinelands, Yarrawonga, Winnellie and Coconut Grove between the 22 and 30 September.

“It is alleged the youths stole money from petty cash tins and a motor vehicle from a business in Palmerston.

“The two youths were arrested in Casuarina yesterday. The 14-year-old was charged with:

• Aggravated unlawful entry (x14)
• Damage to property (x13)
• Stealing (x13)
• Aggravated unlawful use of a motor vehicle
• Breach of Bail

“He will appear in Darwin Youth Justice Court on Friday, 2 October.

“The 15-year-old received Youth Diversion.”
