Northern Territory Police have arrested a 19-year-old man in relation to firearm offences following a disturbance at Docker River.

Northern Territory Police have arrested a 19-year-old man in relation to   firearm offences following a disturbance at Docker River.

 Senior Sergeant Michael Potts said it is alleged a 27-year-old woman assaulted a 20-year-old woman at around 10:00pm on Monday 19 October.

 “Police allege that a short time after this assault, a 19-year-old male approached the 27-year-old woman and threatened her with the firearm. It is also alleged that he later threatened her with a knife.”

 The 19-year-old male has been charged with:

  • Aggravated Assault
  • Firearms offences including being an unlicensed shooter
  • Possess Controlled Weapon
  • Drive unlicensed.

 he 27-year-old female has been charged with:

  •  Aggravated Assault

 Both alleged offenders have been bailed to appear in Mutitjulu Court on 24 November 2015.
