Strike Force Trident Detectives have charged a 32-year-old man following the recovery of a large quantity of stolen property.
Detective Senior Sergeant Mark Stringer said a search warrant was executed at the man’s Durack residence on Thursday 29 October following information from a member of the public.
“Police seized a quantity of allegedly stolen property including a cherry picker, a camper trailer, a car trailer and various power tools. The estimated value of the property totals over $110,000.
The man will appear in Darwin Magistrates Court on 10 November charged with:
- Aggravated unlawful entry (x2)
- Aggravated unlawful use of motor vehicle (x10)
- Stealing (x6)
- Trespass on premises (x2)
- Damage to property (x2)
- Unlawfully possess property
Police are currently making enquires to locate the rightful owners of the property.
