NT Police are currently searching for a 50yr old male missing in bushland 110 kms from Nhulunbuy.
The male and a companion had been camping in an area known as Mick’s Camp....On Thursday morning (5 Nov) the two walked to an area known as Gurrumurnu Flood Plains. One of the males became affected by the heat and returned to camp. The second male has failed to return. The missing person, from Central Queensland, is believed to be very well equipped for bush walking.
Local Police, members of the TRG and a helicopter are continuing the search this morning.
