NT Police searching for a 50 year old male 110 kms from Nhulunbuy have found a body, believed to be that of the missing person, in the vicinity of the Gurrumurru Floodplain.
The man, from Central Queensland, had been missing since Thursday. ...Local Police, members of the TRG , local Rangers, emergency services and numerous members of the Nhulunbuy community were involved in the extensive land and air search.
No other details of the circumstances of his death are yet available, with Police now concentrating efforts on recovering the deceased from the area.
Investigations into the full circumstances surrounding his death will continue and a report will be prepared for the coroner.
