Detectives from Strike Force Vega charged an 18-year-old male yesterday following an unlawful entry in Alice Springs dating back to November 2013.
Superintendent Travis Wurst said Police allege the male unlawfully entered a business on Stuart Terrace and stole various items.
“We undertook a cold case review of DNA found at the scene and the offender was subsequently identified in relation to this crime.”
He was arrested on Tuesday 22 December and was charged with:
- Aggravated unlawful entry
- Stealing
- Damage property
He has been summons to appear in the Alice Springs Youth Court at a later date.
