NT Police have arrested a 48-year-old man following an aggravated assault in Hermannsburg on Monday 28 December.
Acting Superintendent Pauline Vicary said the victim was a man aged 31.
“Police were notified of the assault by nurses attending the scene.
“The man had allegedly used a broken bottle to attack the victim.
“The man was taken to the Alice Springs Hospital where he is in a stable condition.
“Police arrested and charged the 48-year-old-man today.”
He has been charged with:
- Unlawfully cause serious harm
He has been refused bail and will appear in the Alice Springs Court tomorrow.
