Police are investigating a suspicious fire at a house fire in Yuelamu community yesterday.

Senior Sergeant Michael Potts said that Police and the NT Fire and Rescue Service are conducting investigations into the fire.

“Authorities were alerted to the fire at about 7:15pm Wednesday 30 December and arrived to find the property fully engulfed.

“The fire was extinguished using the community fire tender and assistance from community residents.

“Nobody was injured in this incident.

“No arrests have been made at this time and enquiries are continuing.”
