Northern Territory Police have laid charges against a 25-year-old man in relation to last night’s fatal hit and run on Bagot Road.

Earlier today Police located and interviewed the remaining passenger of the motor vehicle.

The vehicle’s driver has now been charged with:

• Hit and run – cause death
• Drive under the influence
• Drive unlicensed

The man was remanded in custody and will appear in Darwin Magistrates Court on Wednesday 6 January.
