Man Charged - Unlawful Entry and Stealing - Alice Springs

Northern Territory Police have charged a 29-year-old male after he was interrupted while attempting to steal two kegs of beer from a resort in Alice Springs.

 Superintendent Peter Gordon said Police were alerted to the theft at 4:00am this morning.

“Employees at the resort notified Police that there was a man with two 50 litre kegs on a trolley.

“Police attended the scene and apprehended the offender.”

He was charged with:

  • Unlawful entry
  • Stealing

He is to appear in the Alice Springs Court today.
