Northern Territory Police have called off their search for a 28-year-old male who went missing on Christmas Day at Tom Turner Creek near the Peppimenarti Community.

Commander Bruce Porter said search teams had resumed this week after flood waters receded, however they found no trace of the man. 

A report will be prepared for the coroner.
