Detectives from the Serious Crime Squad are requesting public assistance to locate a light blue / silver coloured Toyota Corolla Sedan.

Detective Superintendent Travis Wurst said the vehicle was stolen during a robbery that occurred last night in Woolner.

“Police believe the vehicle is still in the Darwin area and request anyone who knows of its current whereabouts to immediately contact Police.

“The vehicle may still be in the possession of a 22-year-old male who Police will allege is the offender in the overnight incident.

“The male is believed to have a tomahawk or small axe with him and he should not be approached,” Detective Superintendent Wurst said.

The car is described as a light blue / silver Toyota Corolla sedan with NT registration CA 37 WK.
