Northern Territory Police have charged three men with drug offences following a series of search warrants across Darwin yesterday.
Detective Senior Sergeant Mark Bland from Strike Force Trident said officers from Trident, TRG, the Drug and Organised Crime Squad and Dog Operations Unit assisted in the first warrant at a Stuart Park business.
“During the course of the search, members allegedly located about 2.7kg of cannabis, 6g of methamphetamines, $7,050 cash and fireworks,” he said.
“During a second raid at a location a short distance away, Police allegedly found and seized more cannabis, methamphetamines and fireworks, as well as phones and two vehicles.
“A third warrant was then carried out at one of the men’s home address, where an additional $36,000 in cash and 10 vials of anabolic steroids were allegedly found.”
A 38-year-old man was charged with:
- Possess Cannabis – commercial quantity
- Possess Methamphetamine – traffickable quantity
- Possess dangerous drug – traffickable quantity
A 37-year-old man has been charged with:
- Possess Cannabis – commercial quantity
- Possess Methamphetamine – traffickable quantity
- Possess Fireworks
A 23-year-old man has been charged with:
- Possess Cannabis – commercial quantity
- Possess Methamphetamine – traffickable quantity
