Charges - Unlawful Entry - Coconut Grove

Northern Territory Police have charged three youths aged 15, 16 and 17 following an unlawful entry in Coconut Grove in the early hours of 10 May 2016.

Detective Senior Sergeant Mark Bland said Police will allege that just after midnight the three youths forced entry into a business before stealing three bicycles worth $2550.

“The trio were later sighted by Police on the bicycles and they were arrested without incident.

“Investigations have linked the youths to an unlawful entry on 5 May 2016 and the 16-year-old responsible for a further unlawful entry at Casuarina Senior College on 26 April 2016.

The 15-year-old youth was charged with:

  • Unlawful entry x2
  • Stealing x2
  • Damage to property x2

The remaining two youths combined were charged with:

  • Unlawful entry x3
  • Stealing x3
  • Damage to property x3
The youths will appear in Youth Justice Court today.
