Youth Charged – Unlawful Entry – Alice Springs

Northern Territory Police have charged a 17-year-old youth following an alleged unlawful entry in Alice Springs.

Detective Sergeant Trent Abbott said that the offender broke into a house on Bloomfield Street on 9 May.

“Members from Strike Force Vega arrested the male about 8:20am on Tuesday 17 May, after receiving forensic evidence identifying the offender,” he said.

“It is alleged that the male stole over $8031 worth of goods, including phones, notebooks and car keys.

“A co-offender has not yet been located.”

He was charged with:

  • Unlawful entry – Dwelling
  • Stealing
  • Damage to property
  • Trespass

He was remanded in custody to appear in the Alice Springs Court on 20 May.
