Northern Territory Police have recovered a firearm which was stolen from a car in Palm Circuit, Alice Springs on 14 June.

Detective Acting Superintendent Peter Malley said that the Browning Magnum .22 pump action rifle was recovered yesterday in the Docker River area.

A 21-year-old man is assisting Police with their enquiries.
