Six youths aged between 10 and 15 have been arrested after allegedly vandalising a school in Malak.

Detective Senior Sergeant Rob Jordan from Strike Force Trident said the caretaker was woken by noises on school grounds around 3.30am Sunday.

“The caretaker has inspected the area and witnessed a group of youths using spray paint around the kiosk and storerooms.

“Police will allege the youths gained entry to the kiosk and a storeroom where they have stolen several cans of paint.”

The youths were interviewed by Police and released.

They will be considered for youth diversion.
