Strike Force Trident Detectives have arrested seven youths, aged between 12 and 16, following an unlawful entry at the Moil Shops overnight.

Detective Senior Sergeant Rob Jordan said a phone call to Police enabled a swift response from General Duties Officers and the Dog Operations Unit.

“Public assistance was invaluable and as a result, we have five alleged offenders in custody.

“Police Dog Lupo did a fantastic job finding a group of these youths and convincing them to surrender to Police.”

Detective Senior Sergeant Jordan said damage to two businesses were significant with the damage bill in excess of $12,000.
